DESK is an innovative physiotherapy bracelet designed to enhance muscle sensitivity and tone. Utilizing vibration from a pair of rotors positioned along its internal longitudinal section, DESK aids in the rehabilitation process. Made entirely of silicone, the bracelet ensures optimal adaptability to the arm, providing comfort during use.

Initially developed through 3D printing and silicone injection, DESK aims to offer a “partial but effective” tactile experience for amputees without invasive methods. The device captures sensory information from the remaining part of the limb, processes it in real-time, and activates small vibrators to simulate touch. A pilot study with four amputees tested the Desc-Glove, validating its effectiveness over a month-long home trial.
